Just wanted to ask what happens first when the tranny is going. Both my wife and I have noticed that when the tranny shifts into 3rd, its not as smooth as it used to be, that is it shifts abruptly, however not all the time. All other gears are still shifting smoothly. BTW, the 2002 TL has 36,000 miles on it. Thanks for any input.
