Trans Replacement

Went to get my headlight bulb replaced and transmission recall and bamm they told me I need a NEW transmission. My car will never ride the same again. Boohooo!

But in the meantime, they let me hold the new 2004 TL-S. Yeah baby.

Thought I'd share with my fellow TLiens.

What year was your car? How many miles? Did you have any symtoms that your tranny was bad?

My car is only a 2003 with about 33000 miles on it. I did feel symptoms, like sometimes the car would stall when trying to take off. But I thought it was the gas I switched to.

actually, i would have to disagree. i would say mine rides the same or slightly better now that they've changed the tranny. i wouldn't worry about it. you'll be back to loving it in no time

A dealer in NJ. I'm not giving them an advertisement. They have to pay me.

Sorry. I guess I'm just used to saying Type S. It just sounds better.
The only thing I like better on the new one is the interior. Everything else just seems so small and much lower to the ground. I dunno. I love the grill with the body kit on the 1999's to the 2003's...it just looks more rugged. The new one has a slightly smoother ride but thats probably cuz it only has 4000 miles on it.
