ever since i put the turbo in my car car ive been have problems with the tranny but not the normal problems. it will shift fine one minute and the next will slip here and there and also if hard on throttle in second wont shift in to third but doesnt do this all the time. im stumped???

 

sounds like the trans is on its way out. Have you changed the fluid and cleaned the solenoids?

 

every 10,000 miles for the fluid and i checked the two solenoids on top of the trans and the linar solenoid too they were clean. i havent had much time to mess with this car for awhile. two winters ago i did the turbo build when i parked it trans was fine no issues what so ever but in the spring when i was driving it to get tuned something wasent right i had a ground issue due to me relocating the batt to the trunk. the thing that gets me is no codes and dosent do it all the time i can go to the drag strip pound it all night no problems then it seems like it does it more just driving normal. i just dont want to throw a tranny in it before i take a good look at things. im a mechanic and have delt with the common tranny problems this just seems so random and i drove it to the shop today and forth gear slipped passing so im stumped. i just dont want to waste time swapping a tranny and have a electrical issue.if its beat its beat just trying to rule every thing out first.

 

I don't mean to doubt you but how is the tranny fluid level, hot and idling in park? Or neutral?

 

Where it should be at.just drove it home slipping in all gears now guess ill be swaping it out

 

6MT? Would be nice...
You probably know our trannys aren't the best on a boosted motor.
