While I am flooring it in automatic in my 2001 TL when it gets a high rpm and it is about to switch gears it feels like the gears are slipping and the rpm's get higher befor the next gear kicks in. is any one else having this problem and does any one know what tha deal is??????

 

happens to me a lower rpms like just accelerating slightly from an idle cruise. There is a delay. Also when I shift from R to D5 I feel it go into gear and then 2 sec later go in again but more securely Strange!

 

I am having the same problem. I brought it to the dealer and they said they couldn't duplicate the problem. I have 37K miles on it now. Hopefully my tranny doesn't go out before the warranty goes out. Let me know if you find a solution to this.
