Well, the tranny on my 02 tl-s is being replaced. Wjhat's cool is they gave me a black TSX!!! as a loaner car car. The bad news about that is my dad won't let me drive it because you have to be 25 to drive the loaner car. I'm so pissed that he won't let me drive it.

Just be happy that you get to drive your dad's TLS... and if the TLS is yours, then it is common practice for rental car companies to require the operator to be 25 years old. In that case, BE GLAD YOU ARE YOUNG! You can always buy new and different cars down the road... BUT YOU CAN NEVER BE YOUNG AGAIN! Take the good with the bad, and enjoy life before your youth is gone for good... because unlike the tranny, that is something that is CERTAIN to occur.

Yeah it's mine it was a gift from my mom. I went to Thomas Acura in Covina.

 

You should'nt have any problems driving the loaner as long you're under your father's insurance. They'll have to cover you if anything was to happen. I'm only 20 and everytime I take my car in for warranty stuff....my sales rep always let me thrash on their new cars without putting down any information. Cars I driven:

TSX auto w/navi(because the manual wasn't there at the time)
RSX-S 6speed
03 TL-P (twice as overnight)
03 CL-S 6speed w/navi
94 Legend LS 4dr(worst one but still decent and felt more comfortable than my TL-S ironically)

 

my dealer always asks me if i am over 21 before handing me a loaner car. maybe it has to do with the people who insure the dealership cars.
