I have a 99TL and my tranny is definitly going going gone. the D4 light blinks, the TCS, and Check engine light are both on. The third gear gets very jumpy and the car jerks everytime i put it in reverse or any of the drives. from first to second gear the car makes a lot noise that scares the shit out of me every single time i accelerate.

i have a few mods in my car.. headers, custom exhaust piping which removed the resonators.. etc. but will this void my tranny warranty which i still have since im only at 70K miles on the 99??

No, the mods will not void your tran warranty.

it shouldn't ... many people here have had their trannie replaced even though they have MODs

thank youuuuuu! im getting my tranny replaced tomorrow. cant wait. i cant stand this stupid slam noises and awkward gear changes.
