Is it possible to swap the tiptronic in tl-s w/ a 6sp of cl-s? What would this involve

 

a lot of work.

Cost of new 6sp tranny Guessing $5k

Removal of old tranny and adding new one.

Some how fitting the clutch pedal, I heard is a hydrulic clutch pedal not sure about that.

Relocating parking brake, this should not be that hard.

Need new center console for parking brake and stick.

Either new ECU or PCM or both.

New gauges.

Again, lot of work.

I would love to do it, but I'll wait until 04 TL to see if it comes with 6sp manual

 

I agree with Bitium, I would wait.... plus get the re-design, "Hoping it will look good and not like the new CL".....

 

And perhaps you want to swap the front axle, too... cuz of the LSD

Also removing or permantly deativating VSA or TCS on non Type S.

 

Now that I think about it, the LSD should come with the tranny. Not sure, but I think.
