By the end of this week, he'll have the entire crate taken over to another friend's place (lives in an apartment, no place to store it). Then we're gonna take a look around the engine bay, do some research, and have at it. If everything goes according to plan and smoothly, I just might have a 3.5L block upgrade in a few weeks.

Well, you can save that for later if it gets done properly with no problems.

I'm already having withdrawals about parting with my 3.2L block. We've been through so much together *sniff sniff*... But it will live on as a built drag motor in my friend's RX-7.

Will the wiring really be that simple? Just a harness?

anyone have a CL-S 6-Speed in Kris' hood? Maybe he can take a look at the differences b/w them as far as tranny to engine hookup is concerned

it will make things alot simpler when it comes time to plug things in if its the correct wiring. in order to make it the easiest swap, im thinking it would be easiest to turn it into a TL-S (not that id mind the extra HP anyway) (also this would force me int getting a header too, you know since teh cl-manual header has a different design than the tl )
save some weight too. it looks like the auto tranny is 150 lbs more than the manual?

hahahahahaahahaha that was good

I'd be alot more jealous if u had a 300HP V8 in ur TL than a 6 speed transmission.
