hey fellas, i wanted to clean the solenoids on my tranny, saw the diy for the 99s, but notice other people are saying the 5spds are in a diff spot....where is it? also for people who cleaned it, anyone notice a difference? i saw a thread that thinthan said he had CEL light on after cleaning it....but only him complained of that...

not that my tranny is dying, but curious to see how clogged or unclogged it is..

I would love to know the answer to that as well... Have you changed the external tranny filter ? I didnt know there was one on my 03 TL S, I did that and the car is shifting a little smoother into 2nd gear.

You can take off all of them and clean them if you want (i would) Though i would probably leave #14 alone
