Tranny slip symptoms
Hello All,
What are some of the symptoms of tranny slip. Lately, I have notice intermittently that my car does not accelerate as well from 40-70mph. i'll gun the accelerator and i am basically accelerating as fast as a stock 95 accord. i feel the rev going up but the car is not accelerating as fast as I think it should. i am not 100% sure whether it's a mental thing or just the first signs of a tranny going bad. this concerns me quite a bit as i do A LOT of driving and don't want to go over the warranty and then have the tranny fail..... any sure way to tell if my tranny is really slipping? FYI, i have a 2002 type-s.

if it is still accelerating then everything is OK.
You will know when there is a problem because you will step on the gas, the tach needle will wind up into the redline and the car will barely move.
