tranny questionz?

I have a 2000 acura tl. I got my pre-owned. I've heard about the tranny issue with the ac. Mine has yet to show any symptoms of it. If it does will the acura dealerships replace it for free since it was recalled, i did received the notice. How are the new trannys they're giving out. I heard good things or is this bullshit holla i dont have warranty no more

the warranty is 100,000 miles or 7 years from when the car was first bought wich was probly in 99. and the tranny itself wasnt recalled.

The notice you got should be for inspection of the transmission and installation of an oil spray bar. Get that done!!!!!!!!!!
If anything is wrong already, they will order you a new trans.
Be prepared for it to need a motor mount or 2 with trans change, cheap to do then compared to by themselves. think $150 for the front
Register your car with acura.com customer care link, and entering your vin will get you info on the car and what has been done to it. A call to their 800 number will get more info from a human.

I got the first one replaced for free two years ago when the car was @ 93K. I need a new one AGAIN with only 134K on it. The dealer won't pay for it, either.
