Tranny Question Please Help: 2000 Honda Inspire J25A Engine

I have a 2000 Honda Inspire with a J25A engine. My Tranny has gone bad. Does anyone know if a tranny from the Acura 3.2TL can fit this engine? The car has a 4spd tranny. The tranny code is B7VA-7501980 YP7V35.

it would take a huge amount of money--the shift lever and dash indicator assembly is made for 4 speed in your current ride,,ecu and wire harness all different

but anything is possible with piles of cash

I'm not thinking of putting in the 5spd tranny. I want to putting in a 4spd tranny like what came in the 1999 Acura 3.2TL. I just want to be sure that it would fit eventhough the engine size are different. I saw on the internet that all J series tranny can bolt on to all J series engine.

I want to be sure because I am in the Caribbean so I would have to buy the tranny in the USA and ship it down plus pay duties & taxes.

We dont see too many people with the J25 here. IF it were to bolt up i would suspect it would have to be the accord or 99TL 4 speed. Im not sure if the J25 uses the same bell housing.

The tranny code for the tranny that's on the car now is B7VA-7501980 YP7V35. From everything that I have found thus far online that code is telling me a 99 TL 4spd.

Do you know if any J series tranny can really bolt on the any J series engine?
