tranny prob or not?

I had my tranny replaced last week, and want to know if the new tranny has problems as well....this is what i noticed so far

the jerky motion that i had in tranny 1 is gone
the day i picked up the car with tranny 2, when i was in jampacked traffic on the highway, the car was vibrating HARD. passengers noticed it instantly, and they werent even looking for it. This vibration problem left after the first day so i didnt think much of it

since then, i noticed that twice it felt like i lost power, pushing the pedal (at low speeds, mind u, say 30mph) wasnt doing anything, and u can sorta feel no power in it. Hasnt happned again since the two times a few days ago.

the main thing i notice somewhat consistantly is that at low speeds ( i guess switching between gear 1 and 2, and 2 and 3), with a LIGHT foot on the pedal, it sometimes doesnt shift until 3500, or 4500 rpms. is that normal? I guess this is my main question.

thanks

Year/Model TL? Also, when you describe the first problem of the car not moving anywhere when pushing the gas at lower speeds...does the RPM needless seem to move, but you don't? If so...this may be another sign of a bad tranny. Also, make sure they swapped in a new ECU w/the new tranny.

Your second problem might be a problem w/Vtec engaging at lower speeds. Have this checked out....

It's a 2001 TL, with 76000 miles.
I don't think the RPM needle shot up when the power seemed dead...i havent experienced it again, so i dont know for sure. They did replace the ECU w/ the tranny, that I know for sure.

The second problem ... would they check it out free of charge if i tell them I think it's a tranny problem? since i am no longer under warranty .... how high should the rpm's go switching from 1-2 or 2-3 gear, assuming no lead foot syndrome?

thanks guys
