Unhappy Tranny gone or Axle?????

Hey guys, So I am pretty new to the TL world as well as the acurazine world...I bought my TlS back in November and I love it! Anyways, i was hearing this whobbling, rythmic noise coming from my car at around 30-40MPH when i was hitting the gas...it was an odd noise and it had just started after i got my lower ball joints replaced and my tranny flushed. I checked it out here on acurazine and saw that a few people had the same problem and it was either the axle or axle bearings. So I took it down to the dealer today Clair acura of Walpole and after a few hours they said that my tranny is gone????!!!!! this floored my because my car shifts fine is pulling as it has been all this time. really weird guys...i have an extended warranty so all i have to pay is $100 and they gave me a tsx as a loner (free of charge) but pretty weird...let me know what you guys think...im so upset. I MISS MY CAR!!!

Does it sort of sound like a vacuum blowing air back?? The sound comes as you hold the accelerator down at a constant speed and when you let it go, the sound goes away. If this sounds familiar then it is the tranny as I have had the same thing happen to me, but Acura replaced the tranny (warranty) and i couldnt be happier with the remodeled version

No doesnt really sound like a vacume...its a hard noise to explain...it kind of sounds like something is spinning but its not spinning evenly...maybe an example would be something that is warped that is spinning??? i dont know...basically it floored me when they said it was a tranny. the most unexpected thing. I thought wheel bearing or axple bearing or my axle, or my wheel is warped...i mean im fine with the new tranny....but i just want to make sure that sound is gone...

If you are still under the 7 year 109k miles - then your extended warranty $100 deduc does not apply
Acura should cover everything.
Remind the Service Manager of Acura extended trans warranty

The noise thats been coming out of the car...which lead to this...started right after I flushed my tranny and replaced my ball joints...pretty weird but before that no noises and car ran strong. Bingo on the warranty. they said my car does not fall under the 100k extended but because i swear by warranties on cars and bought a bumper to bumper extended i am safe. 100$ deductible for any repair over 100 bucks. Pretty baddass. Within 3 months its already paid for itself.
