since you have a rebuilt WARRANTY acura trans- may as well do everything to avoid it going bad
The primary problem is not enough cooling flow to certain parts.
By keeping the oil ~fresh~ the way acura says to- well it certainly cant hurt

clean doesnt indicate what is happening inside- it should be getting dirty if its working properly
You can take a 4 ounce sample and send for mass spectrograph analysis
That will tell you how the additives are doing and any particulate matter floating around
A certain amount of several things are expected to be there, past those limits,,,needs something done. It can tell if a certain part is wearing and what type material
www.blackstone-labs.com is one source, check the internet for others

I have never seen anyones results on a trans fluid check- just engine oil
Should be able to tell you if 3 qts is worth the time or more needed to do it right
they might say leave it till 30 and change it all then

So 1st- how bout you be first!

for referance- the trans holds approx 7.3 qts total honda atf ONLY (imo)

It will only give up 3.1 of that on a normal draining-the rest is in the torque convertor

When you do a repeated drive, 3qt drain and refill, drive-- you push the rest of the old fluid out of the TC and into the drain area- shifting thru each gear moves the old fluid out of other parts and new fluid replaces it as it too heads for the drain
