Hi, guys for the past two weeks my tranny has been holding the gears to long before shifting, making some hard shifts, and lately it has been just been flat out not shifting if I floor the gas.......the thing is that it only shifts like that when I run the car hard or drive for a really long time but when I dont the tranny shifts fine.......So, I am going to change my tranny fluid I found the dipstick........do you know where the drain plug for the the tranny fluid is, where to put the new fluid, and if I should buy the tranny fluid from the dealer?

All help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have warranty left on your TL? If so, it would be a good time to drive the crap out of it and break it then ask for a new tranny and hopefully that new one will last you another 3 years like your previous one

 

Warantee.....I wish.......I bought the car with 55,000 miles so I bought the car with no warantee .......I now have 76,000 miles
