Tranny Coverage

I know that the tranny is covered 7/100 now. But shouldn't the roadside assistance also be included in that time interval. I called , its not. Bull**** huh.

It doesn;t matter. If you have a transmission failure after 50k miles, Acura would have to reimburse towing and storage expenses, etc...

if the tranny goes before the 100k, they should reimburse you for the towing

steve29, you are overanalyzing. If the tranny, which is covered by a special extended warranty, were to fail and leave you stranded, Acura would definitely pick up the tab. It may not be stated in the letter, but for all practical purposes they would certainly cover any reasonable cost associated with the failure of the transmission.

steve29, I feel ya, my 2nd one went out at 52k and i was told my flatbed tow was a courtesy by Acura ass.. I found out through the dealer that any expence ( within reason ) hotel, towing, rental car, would be reimbursed
