Tranny blew

Yup the tranny blew on my car on tuesday. I was on my way to the dealer at Sussman Acura on Rt 38. I could not belive it, I was stoped at a red light and I looked at my gauges, all of the sudden ...VSA light, D5, Check engine light started flashing.. so I gave it some gas when the light turned green. It took me forever to get up to 40mph and didnt go beyond that. luckly I was only a mile away from the dealer.

Oh i live in the Princeton area now so I gave Pricision Acura a call on tuesday to bring my car in, they said they would not take my car because I did not purchase the car from their dealer. Im like WTF is this, does it matter where i got my car from. And on top of that, they said they wont even bother looking at my car until 2 weeks to a month from now if i do so happen to take it in. Than I called Sussman Acura and told them the story, they had me bring in the car that night and gave me a loaner car. I drove from Princeton area to Mt. Laurel. I have to admit, Sussman have the best customer service of any car dealer I've been to. Keep Up the good work Sussman Acura.

I live in the Princeton Area as well and when shopping for my TLS I visited Precision Acura first, they treated me like dirt and the whole experience was not very nice. So I drove 20 minutes into PA and bought my car at Davis. Night and day difference, Davis is great and I take my car there for all its service needs even though Precision is right around the corner from my house. I would never buy a car there.

I would also complain to Acura, no Acura dealer can refuse service on your vehicle just becuase you bought it somewhere else.

Sussman Acura on Rt38? Cool... That's where I bought and service mine. And I agree-- their service dept is kick-ass!

For some reason, Princeton Acura just don't care about their customer(s). Either they are making too much money or are a really stuck up. they do seem to treat people nice that have "Class" or something.

Oblio98, i have a 02 TLS with 17,700 miles, but it started to slip back in july or august. It wasn't bad, it slips when i take a right turn for some reason.

Sorry about your tranny. Listen, I am from around your way. Call Acura Of Ocean and speak to Bud, the number is 732-776-5200. He is in charge of service department and a nice guy. Just sweet talk them, tell them that you just moved into the neighborhood and that you are looking for a new service center for the car, etc...

Good luck

Also, have to agree with Ajay, Precision Acura is the worst dealer I have ever visited and I have bought plenty of cars from dealers. No respect, no sense of customer service and worst of all one of those attitudes that 'Try to Bit This Price'.

STAY AWAY FROM PRECISION ACURA.

You do know that you have TLC and you can call them to have the car towed to the nearest dealer.

MotionEffects,

Dude that sucks. Hope Sussman hooks you. Tell the Service Manager and the chicks that check in your car that Neil with the Silver Acura sent you there. Maybe they'll hook you up. Mandy loves my car. She gets bored of always seeing stock TLs there.

NSXNEXT,

It was Deanna that helped me. She was Very Nice and HelpFul, but i think Mandy helped me out with my car when i have the kit put on. All of them people working there are Extremely nice. I wish Pricsion Acura was more like Sussman. Thanx for the info.
