A coworker's husband converted her '89 Mustang conv. 4 cyl/auto to a 302 V8/5 speed. It wasn't too bad of a conversion for the same reasons it would be a hell of a difficult conversion for the TL:
1. The car's computer didn't control as much stuff.
2: The car was available with a manual transmission.
