I know it's second hand , but a previous post mentioned that Acura has discovered that a miss-sized seal may fail, and when it does, it is trashing TLS transmissions. Has anyone heard if they have a fix where they can easily replace the faulty seal (if that is what it really is) before failure occurs? Or is it a major rebuild? I don't want to end up eating a new transmission with 51,000 miles on the car.

I would ask my dealer but, frankly, I'm not too confident that they would know, or, if they did, that they would be willing to admit that there is a potential problem yet.
