I wanna take my car to the track and run some quarter mile times. Are the tracks open now or closed till summer? I only know about Sears Point but don't know how to get there. How much is it to run and are there any websites i can read up on it? Thanks guys!

Just an idea, maybe some of us can meet up and run our cars and see who's the fastest! It'll be fun.

They usually do drags up in Sac. I've been out of the scene for a while so I dunno what they schedule is like now. I remember going there during Summer tho, which doesn't really make sense. They should do the drag races in Winter when they get more power from colder air. That'll help your quarter-mile time.

 

You can go to Sears Point every wednesday night for drag racing, you will see alot of domestic cars though. They charge about $15 but I don't know if they are closed for the winter season. Sears Point isn't that far, it is in Sonoma County.

Don, go to Sacramento raceway. I used to go to UCD and every weds after class i took off to Sac to run my old civic. Its not that far, off of 50 I think. Power something road was the exit I think. Are you coming back to the bay this weekend for the Meet ? I wanted to see your car..
