TPS Poor Quality or Other issue?

I purchased a replacement TPS because I was throwing a p0122 and showing low voltage on voltmeter and experiencing corresponding symptoms. I got it from the same merchant I bought the last one from in September of 2015. It lasted the first time I got it approx. 40 days. I suffered with the issues of transmission not shifting past 2nd gear, hard shift, only relying on the shifter to drive until Januray 2016. Purchased a new TPS from the SAME company on the west coast. Installed, calibrated and car was fine. About 40 days later again I started getting a 0122 code and car stops shifting again. My suspicion is that I bought a low quality TPS built to fail especially since it happens each time 40 days after delivered and 10 days outside their warranty. Any suggestion of a good TPS manufacturer?

DENSO? Have you consider getting the OEM unit (Ala full Throttle Body) from a Junkyard?
