you can ignore the towtruck driver. lolz. cause it's all about the adjuster. not him. he's piss cause he coudln't get a piece of that rims

Sucks that it had to happen to you but now you don't have to deal with future tranny problems. Good luck finding a new or newer car!

Yeah, I've narrowed it down to GTI, Passat CC, Altima V6 coupe, maaybe WRX (i hate the interior), Civic Si.

So basically, somewhat sporty and under 28k... if anyone can suggest anything else I'm all ears!

In that price range I'd consider a G8 GT - biggest power/dollar - plus easy to mod to get more power... (not the best interior in the world though....) or a Camaro if you want a 2 door...

Shiiit dude, sucks... Good to hear you were able to bring her back to life tho. I'm glad that the penalties for drunk driving are so strict. That fucktard is gonna spend at least a year in jail.

Why buy new? There are plenty of great cars out there for under $10k, such as your TL. If I were you I'd go 6MT 3g or 6MT 2G CL, and pocket the extra cash, if any. You'll regret car payments.

Yeah I'm still gonna look at used, my budget is in the high 20's if I finance.

I test drove the CC yesterday and I LIKE!!!! The interior is amazing for a car that price. The leatherette seats are awesome, not as supportive as the TLS but the material feels great. 12 way adjustable too!

Nice stereo (no bose) but still good, and clear.

The pickup is a little weak, its 200 (at the wheels) which is not bad, and there's just a faint turbo lag between 1 - 2k. The sales guy said that with chip intake and exhaust we're looking at almost 300hp at the crank, the sellers sites say the same thing.

Ride is great, not as sport as the TL but also more supple.

Over all, I am impressed! For 27k, every aspect of the car screams luxury. and it looks fucking great too!

I'm gonna test drive more cars (altima v6 coupe, mazdaspeed 3, maybe a tsx (out of my price range tho)

Word... Idk srt-4 is quick, but it's not nice. I want a balance of luxury and performance.

I just came back from driving the Mazdaspeed 3 and the V-6 Mazda 6.

The 3 is a toy. Shitty ass interior, no sound dampening (you can hear the tires at like 40!), crappy seat material with fake ass leather. The plastic panels are hollow on all the doors and it feels about as solid as a Styrofoam cup. The clutch is too agressive for me. I've never owned a stick shift so maybe I just need to get better at it, but I had no problems driving the CC. The ride is stiffer than the TL, but lacks refinement and is too "tuner" for me.

The 6 was a closer fit. Better interior, not on par with 2g in terms of quality, not even close to the CC. The seats are decent, not very sporty. Material quality is better, but not great. Electronics package was nice but I drove the 32k top model. The system is very good. Much better than 2g. Probably not 4g tho. Pickup was similar to the 2g, but handling and ride quality were lacking. A 7 year old car handling better? Thats sad. The ride was not as smooth as the CC either, defintely noisier and less stable on rough pavement.

Eh wasn't impressed with either really esp when I found out that the dealer wanted $450 a month for a 36 month lease with with 3k down? I'll pass.

So CC FTW for now.

BTW here's the link for the other cars which were hit
