took my car in for service

and this is the list of stuff being replaced:

throttle body (idle was fluctuating, i thought it would be either the o2 sensor or IACV but i guess not)

transmission along with oil jet (surprise surprise)

timing belt recall (never had it done so i figured why not)

rubber windshield trim (it was starting to come out of place from the sun i guess)

shiny black trim around windows (both side had wrinkles... takes 3 to 4 days to fix)

dashboard (it warped from the sun were the vents by the windshiels are. i could see the
yellow foam underneath the black material)

both front seat rails or w/e it is (both front seats would squeak everytime someone moves)

right rear speaker (it was blown... go figure how a speaker would blow on a stock system)

battery (i made the appointment to take it on on a tuesday and the battery died the next day)

new rotors and pads (surprise, they warped yet again for the 3rd time)

and thats all i can think of for now... PS.. ALL of it is covered.

That seat squeak could be the seatbelt fastener... when you get your car back... if it still squeaks, try riding w/o your seat belt and see if the noise persists...

i've tried that before and it squeaks regardless of the seat belt. i have also used wd-40 on it before but that only fixed it for a little bit. they also "re-tightened" the bolts because supposedly the seat was loose the last time i went. so this time they are replacing the seat rails or something.

Well first, when my car was idling the whole car would shake, and they told me it was supposed to do that... then I went back and sat the guy in the car and said if a car is supposed to do that then you can have the car back, they replaced 2 parts and then the car idled fine. Then there was a scrapping noise coming from the front tires and they said that was normal... then braught it back again complained to a differnt guy and they ended up telling me that my routers where warped... fixed them and the noise went away. I took my car in the other day because the road noise seems to be getting louder and louder and when I go around bends over 30 miles an hour, you can hear a bump bump bump sound... I only have 17's but they are Racing Tires...they told me it was my tires because they have an aggressive tred..... I am going to go to my friends shop and switch my tires and check for myself though, because I don't know if I can believe them

first off id say find a different dealer, and 2nd the higher performance the tire the more road noise it will make. and as they wear they will make even more
