Took my 3.2TL badge off and..

I decided to take my "3.2TL" bagde off and I haven't been able to completely remove all the glue residue. The badge came off pretty easy, then most of the glue also came off easily, but there is still a thin but visible layer, I've tried the with blower (as I read in a post here) and also lighter fluid which helped but not enogh....btw I tried to wax it too..........need help

sounds dumb but rub it with your thumb......the glue will roll into little balls when it heats up while rubbing.

If you don't have any Goo Gone handy, just splash a little gas on a paper towell and rub it on the spot, it will clean it right off. Make sure to wash & wax the spot afterwards because the gas will strip off the wax in that area. Works great for tar spots behind the wheels as well.
Oh, and no smoking while you do this....POOF!!!! tee hee

me too

I did the same think to my TL, Took off the 3.2tl badge. Still want to take of the 'A C U R A' also, but now I'm a little nervous,it left what looks to be a clear coat outline. From what I can tell, there hasn't been any body-work done, so I'm not sure where it came from.
All the glue is gone (goo-done and rubbing it with my finger) and I've tried a scratch / swirl remover and wax.
I wanted to see if anyone had this same problem? What did you do to fix it?
If not, any ideas? Anything you've tried?
