TLS trough priceline.com

Any body have purchases a TLS through priceline.com.

I was thinking about doing so instead of going to dealer after dealer trying to find the best price.

Have anybody done that before and what was the results.

Thanks

Do a search. I remember reading a post from someone who did this and was pleased with the result, but I can't remember who posted or when.

I was going to try it but I didn't. I went with cars.com, carpoint.com, edmunds.com.....

I got a great deal. $31,200 with NAV TL-S, mud, moonrof visor, all season, wheel locks.

so which website did you actually use to bid for the car. You mentioned a few. How does the process work. Can you explain to some on us newbies. I would think that shopping online for the best quote beats spending your weekend going to dealership after dealership for the best quote.

Any body else have info

OK, here is the short and brief version.

Basically, do a search on the internet and find all the websites you can which you can buy cars from. The ones off the top of my head are, cars.com, carpoint.com, expedia.com, edmunds.com, autobytel.com, dealernet.com. A couple of those site may not work now, but give them a try anyway.

Figure out exactly what options you want and how much you want to pay and stick to it.

Send out your requests and wait for the dealers to get back to you. Most likely, they will not give you a price right away and they want you to go in and chat with them. Don't fall for that trick. Call them if you have to and tell them exactly what you are looking for and ask them to give you a quick quote, be stern.l After you get all the quotes, take the lowest price and send out an e-mail to the others and ask them to beat the the lowest quote you have. You eliminate them one by one as not all of them are willing to lower the price.

You should be able to get a good price this way, good luck.

Or try the fax attack. However some people said that didn't work for them.
