Man, it just took a digger!!!
My friend is trading in his TLS for a Honda Odessey (more kids
than expected). Anyhow... 4 weeks ago he was given a no
look bid of 27,500 for a 2002 TLS w nav and 5000 miles. Now,
the no look bid price is $24,000!!!

Needless to say, he'll be selling it on it's own. It'll be going for
$29,500 or so for a Silver Satin TLS with full wood kit and nav.
I'll post the link to it's sale site once it goes up (in anyone is interested).

Anyhow, I thought that was shocking. Evidently, Ohio is just
pumping these suckers out at insane speeds... or that news
of the redesign hit the dealers.

 

See what I mean about if Acura redesigned the '03 how that would hurt the value of our cars? What will the the value of our '02 once the '03sss hit?

Only chance we have now is that most people won't like the revampled look over the '02.....highly unlikely.

All I have to say is between the build quality & this kick in the a#s, I WON'T be owning another Acura. I'll switch back to Infiniti or move onto Lexus!!!!

 

Hope they put a different or improved tranny in the '03!!
(Maybe a manual)

i dont care... we've already made our purchases and even tho ppl have problems...look on the brite side, i was driving a 88 ford tempo before the TL-S... so i think i'll be fuken happy for a while!...
be hapyy with what u got, u coulda instead just droven a fford escrt instead of a tl...

Still, it's unbelievable that Acura would revamp the car so quickly. Even though its the nature of the beast, it's disheartening to know that the car I love so much now, may be something I drive in the future, while enviously eyeing the brand new TL's.

I'd just like to drive a car without having to worry about looking outdated (at least for a little while!)
