I put my lighter 18" rims back on with yokahama ZR rated tiers. Every year I’m absolutely shocked at how much better this car performs with a proper tire setup. Its literally shocking. My lateral performance an apex ability is awesome. Our stock tires and wheels are such crap. The funny thing is that magazine comparisons with cars like the 330 have the TLs even in lateral G's and slalom speeds. The 330I already has this setup. The TLS must just spank it when its setup similarly. I am amazed at how well the performance is with this setup. It might not be as spectacular and sharp as my S2000 was when I tracked it at PIR all the time, but it is quite capable. We just need to work on the brakes a little bit, they suck.

 

'zactly...The brakes are even more noticably worse when you add some mods and find yourself full throttle going into a corner quicker than stock...Gets scary...

I'm about to dump my Maxxis tires (which have really been a nice all season tire) for some new Cooper Zeons...
