Angry TLS is "Peppy"

So I have my new 03 TLs for 2 weeks now and the wife has only been in the car once (the first day I bought it). Last night she has to run an errand and says "can I take your car". I say sure and am excited that she is excited about driving my car. I am still in the new car phase and still love looking at and driving the car.

She comes home and I am like a kid at Christmas wanting to know what she thought. She says I like it "it's peppy". PEPPY??? That's it, she's never driving it again!!!!

The right answer by the way dear if you are reading this thread is that the car hauls major ass!!! :-)

peppy

Froh., I once saw a Jay Leno "BarBara Walters Show" and he was showing her his car collection of cars which included a 427 Cobra, she told him that it was "cute". Jay told Barbara that a 427 Cobra is not "cute" a bug convertible or Mini Cooper maybe. It is how woman describe cars.........its a killer!

Haha....I remember the 1st time I test drove the TLS. I went in back and my salesman gave me the keys and said "have fun". I then started the car and put it in reverse. I pressed the gas and I got whiplash! . The accelerator is so responsive and I love it.

So, next time she asks you how her new dress looks or about her new hair-do....just say "it's peppy"! A dose of her own medicine is always good

LoL~!
The first time I let my younger brother drive the car...he peeled out in reverse (he's used to driving an explorer) And he just got the biggest smile on his face....

I let Mom borrow mine while I was on vacation, Dad was worried she would want one and he wouldn't be able to buy his new Harley, then he drove it and said, "sh!t Jason, forget her, I want one!" He will be turning 50 next week! Guess what, MOM WANTS ONE TOO! Sorry about your Harley Dad!

LOL, reminds me of my first date with my girl. I had a '92 300 ZX TT w/ Jim Wolfe Chip/intake/Exhaust and some other little goodies. Package claimed 396HP.

Well, after dinner I showed her what she can do and took off doimg a little burn out and went through 2nd and 3rd..damn I miss that car. But anyway, I asked what she thought and she replied "It's ok....".

What?! It's OK Till this that sh!t bothers me:p...man that was 5 years ago.

I think Peppy is a normal response from a MOST women. My wife sums up her experience with one word, "effortless". I'm still trying to figure out if that's a compliment or not.

I don't know man, I think "effortless" is along the same lines as "is it in yet" :p

This is exactly what my wife said after she drove my TL-S for the first time - "it is peppy"

I think it is some code word that many women use.

Are you kidding? EVERYBODY likes it! Even if they call it "peppy".
I had a guy in a 330i almost break his neck and then sat at the light staring :wow: until someone honked! I just had to laugh.
