TLS Intake

I am about to get my new 2003 TLS and first mod that I want to make is the Air Intake but I do not want the AEM CAI since down here in Florida it constantly rains and many floodings which might lead to water suction (expereienced this with my previous car and the CAI). Is there a short ram intake for this car as there is one for the regular TL and accord? Can I use the one from the regular TL on the Type S? Any help appreciated. Thanks

AEM makes a short ram as to many other companies.

Just so you know, the odds of getting water in your engine are very slim. If you're worried about it, then you should purchase your CAI with the by-pass filter. That will give you the piece of mind you're looking for and you can still experience the CAI....

Here's some interesting reading about the by-pass valve.....

There is no Short Ram Intake for the Type S version. Only CAI.
