I have found a 2000 S4 with 16,000 miles trying to decide between a real stick & quattro & a new TLS. The S4 is $36,000.

I drove an automatic 2000 S4 and felt it was a lot more sluggish than my 2000 3.2TL. This was surprising since the Twin-turbo S4 beats the TL in HP/Torque figures.....never driven a manual S4 however...but have been hearing a lot of good comments about the manual S4....also depends on whether you need a manual or an Automatic...the TL-s is not available in a Manual...

But a used car is a used car....I would go for the TL-s especially since I am pretty comfortable with the automatic versions....

There's alot to be said for a brand new car (instead of someone elses problems, bad driving, God knows what)!

 

Does size matter? (What do the girls say?)The A4 is considerably smaller.
