Well my trannys being rebuilt right now ( i shouldve swapped but no luck in my area. all the good trannys were over 150miles away)

Anyway. What should i do to my car to make her last and run good. I already have the things for the oil change and I have NGK iridiums. I was thinking of changing the cabin air.filters. I have a CAI to let her breathe better too.

Side question: What can i use to take off the radiation from headlights for a while. My headlights are new so theyre really nice and clear but my old ones are really blurry and whatnot. How can i remove this for more than month or two?

The only way to keep your tranny alive is to not have the tranny you're rebuilding put back in.

You're against rebuilds huh. I am too but it was what i could afford. The good AV6 trannys in my area were over 1400. Even ones with 188k was 650. the ones that were 51k miles and for 850 were over 140 miles away.

Chances are that you'll just sell the car once ya get it running.

If ya wanted to keep it, ya would've drove the 140 miles for that 51k tranny @ $850. Maybe another $500 for installing......but ya would've been good for another 100k !!!!
