Total Luxury Care (TLC) question

I called Acura TLC a short while ago through the "info" button link of my RL. I didn't need it for my car but my wife's '04 MDX which wouldn't start. She said it's getting power so may not be the battery (had a new Acura battery installed a few months ago).

Anyway, the TLC representative (Barbara) was wonderful. Professional, efficient, apologized for the problem, and told me what to expect (to be followed up with a call to my wife's cell). They should be there within the hour and will try to get the MDX started. If not, they'll tow it to the dealer.

When I got back to my office, I went online to see exactly what is covered by the TLC program and other than a short generic blurb on the Acura website, I couldn't find anything. Anyone know where I can find an outline of exactly what the TLC program covers?

Acura says to get details at the individual dealers (which makes no sense whatever for a national program).

This is what's listed at the dealer I go to.

Also, you should have received a booklet or a short note when you purchased your Acuras. I'll try to dig mine up when I get home from work this evening.

HTH!

Thanks...I'll look for mine when I get home as well.

Turned out it just needed a jump (apparently, "someone" left the lights on...accidently knocked it off automatic).

I had to use TLC once when I had my 04 MDX. They were excellent and just another reason why I stuck with Acura and the RL over the Lexus and the GS.

Neuronbob: just wondering if you (or anyone else) has cancelled AAA or similar membership in favor of TLC. Coverage seems to be pretty comparable and obviously redundent.

In my expereinces AAA was much more client oriented than TLC. The people with TLC just did not listen to my requests. I give TLC 1 star.

I called TLC yesterday for a trip routing (partly to compare against AAA's trip tik) but gave up after waiting for 10 minutes with no one answering. Can't even give them 1 star for that.
