Tl VS. S-Class

yo, i raced my friends 400SE stock, its the older generation benz, personally, i think it tooks alot more luxurious than the new sporty S-class. well i raced him from 0 to 60 or so. he car prolly weighs alot more than mine, so i thought i wud def have him in my TlP stock. well, he only had a couple of feet on me from the start, and he had me by maybe a car length by the time we hit 50 or so. it was a good race, i was satisfied with my performance.

i also raced his old 89 560 SL.... e had a car length on me in no time, but wut do u expect.....

the 560 would have only given you a taste of what the S500 would give you...The S500/600 and the SL500/600 all have the same 0-60 times even though they are very different body wise...Now we used to have an 87' 560SL in perfect condition, it was only rated at 225HP back at that time...The only difference is its rear wheel drive and a V8, eyeblazing torque son...I stand by that benz more than I do the new SL500, sure its nice but they arent made the same...Shyne

My aunt has a 2001 S500 and it is pretty quick. It's quicker than a TLP and should give the TLS a run for its money.

You are not seriously trying to compare this wack-ass japanese car to a S500..cmon now be realistic. You get what you pay for in a M-B and i'm damn sure the S500 driver couldn't care less about your VTEC or Type-S badges..wonder where acura got the CL name from....?????

My belief... you DON'T get what you pay for. But, when you're
that loaded... who cares. There's 6 S-Class in the garage at the
moment. 3 of em are 600s.
