TL vs. M3 vs. S4 vs. girlfriend
I was drivin home from dinner on the 210W w/ my gf when an M3 convertible and a black S4 zoom past me through dense traffic. I sped up a little to about 85 to keep them in my sight, and after about 3 minutes of contemplating whether i should race with barely any fuel or not, I decided to do it (knowing whole-heartedly that i would lose easily).
I floored it and past both cars. After 10 seconds, sure enough, the M3 was behind me highbeaming. I turned my hazards on for a second and then floored it when he switched out of the fast lane to pass me. Ofcourse, he flies by, and keeps flying. The S4 then flew by as well in the carpool lane. By the time I was at 115 and closing on the next group of traffic we were all at pretty much the same speed and the M3 was a good 6 cars ahead of me w/ the S4 at maybe 4. Then it got interesting...My girlfriend woke up and decided she didint "want to die tonight" so after weaving through traffic behind that M3 for about 5 more seconds, I highbeamed both cars and let off the gas.
Ofcourse I was angry, but what could I do, I would've been a jackass to keep racing. Oh well, it was fun anyway. How often do you find people in M3's or S4's that are willing to race?...those things are pretty damn fast.

<<i thought this icon was funny...ahem, but yea, im sorry broly but 410 WHP. Thats Wheel horsepower ur saying? even 410 HP is impossible. 350 is near impossible unless u put on every possible performance mod AND THEN take your car to Comptech for the $6000 stage 3 upgrade.

S4 is a sweet car. A well modded TL can take an older M3 like a 98

I called comptech up and asked them about the stage 3 upgrade. They said they really don't have anything available for the J32A2 motor so we're outta luck. They been trying to take it off the site for some time now and were really just focusing on getting NSX and S2000 owners to get the upgrade. The only thing they said that they could do for our cars would be forged pistons and rods, titanium valves, valve springs, and retainers, a port and polish job, and maybe port match the intake manifold and exhaust manifold ports. But with all that, you would be ready for an S/C running 12psi and a 150 dual stage shot of nitrous. That's more than enough!!

EDIT: Ah, the NEW M5 is listed on bmw.com but not on bmwusa.com. And yes, ur right 507HP. I know last year's model was 398HP.
