I have a 99 TL 3.2 with a intake short ram and my friend has a 99 3.0 CL 99 I used to be able to beat him by 2 cars then he got a drop in filter like a week ago and yesterday we raced 5 times and he beat me all 5 times we put 3 different drivers in it me, my brother who has been racing since forever and a friend thats the same as my brother. we all lost i couldnt believe it cause monday i was beating him then i lost by a third of a car length and yesterday he was killing me off line first second and third. to like 100 then we had to stop (no more road). is there somthing wrong with my car or did his car have a miracle over nite.

exactly. Many dynos of the generation 5 preludes (newest one) with a short ram intake and show that they lose HP. short ram intakes are made for cars with forced induction.
