If you search for this topic you will find many posts of people either saying, "Yes it is great", or "I wish I would have".

My $.02, it is worth it, get it, you won't regret

Go with the NAVI ! It's a good $2k investment. I have it and I love it.

Just my $0.02
Cheers !!!

I just got back from my first road trip with the TL and all I can say is GET THE NAV! I hardy ever use the thing locally, but when I do travel it is worth every penny.

For example,
Both going to and coming from Harrisburg from NH, there were two accidents that all but shut down the traffic for many miles. I hit the "detour" button and was soon bypassing highway traffic on some obscure country road. I probably saved several hours of sitting in trafic getting angry. Plus I got to see some country scenery.:p

Even traveling locally to some retailer I'm not familiar with, I just plug in the address or name and off I go, without spending time going in circles asking people for directions.

Sure you could get aftermarket equipment, but either way I strongly recommend some sort of navi system.

Iggy

get the navi, even if you wouldn't use it. Get every option possible, if you don't you will wish you did later down the road

One question

Just ask yourself one question: Have you ever been lost? If the answer is "yes", get the Navi. If the answer is "no", you are lying and still get the navi.

Wow so many post on getting the Navi.

I say it's a waste of money
Nothing but a high tech toy
Not very usefull if you don't travel
I'd take the $2K & spend it on mods.

I personally like the clean look of the OEM NAV. Also, it is under the 4/ 50K warrantee. Unless you get the motorized screen it's won't look right and either way it will be blocking some of the controls on the center console.

Get the NAVI

either OEM or aftermarket, but get one. I can't wait for my aftermarket install.

I just bought my wife the 03 tl-s with navi and she loves it, I have a rsx-s and I have to say they did a great job with that navi, easy to use and with onstar you can't go wrong.
