TL Tune up...

I have done a search already on this topic but need more help some of my questions are not answered.

I need to replace a bunch of things I am at 95K.

I know I need to replace

Air filter. (just ordered one K&N for $38 includ. ship)

Plugs (probably Iridium) Where can I get a good deal?

Timing belt (Also where can I get the best deal)

Wires (NGK likely not sure are there better ones?)

Set of brakes front and back need to be replaced I have bendix but I am sure I can upgrade. I have stock rotor plan to keep them.

Mobil One Oil as always with K&N oil filter-( trying out for the first time) just ordered it with the air filter.

What else am I missing?

Let me know thanks.

Usually, when do timimg belt, do water pump. Not really pricy, and you have the belt off anyway.

I have found the water pump for like $96 incl. ship.

Timing belt is at $44

$140 for both

Which plugs do you suggest is the single or double or quad head type plug any different from each other?

What type of brakes do you suggest with stock pads?

Thanks again.

p.s. What needs to be done for timing belt change? If someone is mechanic savvy how long?

those are good prices for the pump and belt. i would stick to the factory replacement plugs or the denso's/ as for the brakes, i would go withthe Green Stuff Pads. they are the best. as for rotors? horse a piece. rotoras are really good

Wouldn't hurt to change out the brake fluid and P/S fluid, check CV boots for cracks/leaks, replace cabin air filter, clean throttle body, replace transmission fluid and coolant (although this would be done when water pump is done), replace accesory belts too, wiper blades, rotate tires, that's all I can think of....

TRANSMISSON SERVICE AT 95k km.
You can also check the back of the manual for scheduled maintenence for "normal conditions" "moderate (I think), and "Severe conditions" which is what is says to follow if you are in Canada.

There is a pretty good chart in manual for everything from air filter to timing belt to greasing of balljoints. Not too user friendly but all the info is there.

Sorry for the misprint.

I meant The Denso's Iridiums. Are the NGK's just as good or are Denso's better?

Is it true that this TL has no wires?

Should I replace the Oxygen Sensor? Their a little expensive?

Thanks

That's sounds good I thought it was required to change the oxygen sensor's.

Where can I get 100% ceramic brake pads.
