TL Trunk Tray opinion

Is it worth it? How's the quality? How's the look? Should I get it?

I'd considered getting one when I got the car a year ago. However, I wouldn't think of it so much in terms of how it looks, I'd only get a trunk tray for functionality (personally). So I'd say --- if you have the need for it; get it! I think it would be very useful if you tend to store things in the trunk that are either wet, muddy, or sharp.

Unless you're hauling dirt in the back of your car I wouldn't worry about it. My TL came with a trunk mat and I don't Like it. It's so slick that everything slides all over the place.

Are you saying that items on the tray would slide around? Does the actual tray slides around as well?

the tray fits to the entire trunk so it covers ur entire trunk floor. It wont be sliding around, the stuff on it will.

My dealer threw one in when I bought the car (wouldn't have bought it otherwise). It fits the entire trunk and is very nicely made. I actual enjoy it because it makes cleanup a snap (just wipe down the entire tray) and even bought one for our Odyssey.

They sure keep the trunk carpet prestine over time. Keeps the inevitable crap like hair, grass, grease from tools, etc.. from ever getting on the carpet. I like having one.

I love mine. easy to pull out and hose off, vs having to go after your trunk with carpet cleaner. Fits well, and use the cargo net to keep groceries, etc. from sliding around.
I would recommend it, if you want to make for easy cleanup-no vacuuming or carpet cleaning, just hose off.

You can get one for about $40 bucks, it's worth it, if, you like having a clean trunk. If you happen to carry around almost anything that could be dirty keeps your carpet in the trunk clean!

I bought one cause I love to Golf and I just throw my shoes in the tray....no need to bag it.

Quality = when you get one it looks like it wouldn't do shit...however, once you role it out and put it in it's pretty good. The sides are very soft, but they do hold up.

If you ever need the spare tire you will have to pull this out first....

Wow, I guess I'm all alone on this one. I just think a rubber one would be better.

I got the trunk tray too, and it keeps the trunk clean. All you need to do is just use a hose to flush out the dirt, wipe dry and you're all ready to go.

I know it's rubber. I meant something more along the lines of tire consistency so things wouldn't slide around.

Hey, you can have mine for free--just pay to ship it and throw in $5 for the effort. (Not sure how wrinkled it would get by folding it up to ship though.

I can't use it because my subwoofer would slide around. I actually took it out as soon as I bought the car because I found it increased the road noise in the car.
