1. they started to R&D on the supercharger on the Accord I believe. So if they do come out with a SC kit, I think it should fit all TL/CL + accord. Maybe you need different camshaft or bababa.
2. There are may more TL non type-S compared to the TL-S or CL-S. They know that there are TL owners that want performance, that's why they have the header for us. So it will be pretty stupid in a business sense if they offer it on TL-S only
3. If we look at the TL as Integra GS-R and the TL-S as type-R. They have SC kit for all of them, and more non Type-R Teg owner get the SC kit

I dont think it would be finacially sound for them to develope the SC for such a narrow audience. It would need to work on all of the Honda V6 blocks. There will mostl likely be differences for each type of engine, but the main system would need to work for all of them so that the R&D costs could be recouped. I figure boost levels will be adjusted to each engine configuration via pulley size or something.

Guess who gets the first one ? Thats right boys and girls, me
After the testing is done on the Accord they have, I am having my car shipped to Cali to have Comptech install the very first one
The SC is for the V6, so will fit the Accord/TL/CL and Types S. They will just have a different adaptor piece because the only difference in the CL/TL Type S, is the longer trottle body

Remember also the type-s also has a higher compression ratio which is what you don't want in a blown or turbo'ed car. I bet the cost will be around $4000. Also read that the kit will include the comptech icebox intake so I'm glad I didn't spring for the CAI.

I'm assuming you're going to carry the SC on AutoCarPartsDotCom when it comes out?? How much are you going to sell it for??

I'll wait till i see some dynos. If i feel there are substantial gains, I will try for it if its around 3k. 40% has been pretty much the standard as far as gains in hp so i guess that'll put us up to 315 horses. Not too shabby!

We are currently working on one for the Accord V6. It is still in the early
development stages. Once that kit is done, we will try and fit the kit into
the CL-S and TL-S models. Please check back for any new updates in the near
future. Thanks.

I'm not sure how much power our stock tranny canhandle. If it needs replacement, then for me, its probably out of the question. I'll stick to my stock performance. I can almost bet the Type S tranny can handle it tho. On the other hand, if a stock Accord Tranny can handle it, certainly our cars can.

It is still in the early production stage so one knows what the price is going to be, how much power it will add nor which engine is it going to compatible with.
This is how much we know, Comptech is building the SC based on the J block. J block is for the Accord V6, all the TLs/CLs and the MDX.
I am hoping we will get an update later this year from Comptech.

You said it!!!
It's hard to Super Charge a high compression motor. I've heard the S2000 onwers have had some problems too. I know these are completely different cars but, my buddy put a blower on his high compression mustang and blew head gaskets like it was going out of style.
