TL stereo praised at edmunds.com
This will probably come as a surprise to most of you that hate the stock TL system, but edmunds.com ranked it as one of the top 10 systems in cars over $30,000. Check out the article here.
I think the stereo is fine.. it's certainly the best stock system I've ever owned.

i guess its okay for a stock system, but my last car had an aftermarket component set in the front and back... so I was hugely disappointed. I think the lack of tweeters makes a big difference...

I have only had one aftermarket stereo system, which equaled it being stolen. My last 7 cars have all had stock systems. Funny, none stolen. Frankly, the 2002 TL system sounds great, and functions well, and all controls are easy to access.
For the malcontents here, who hate the TL system, quit your *****in and change it to aftermarket or get another car.
