Question TL Spoiler

Alright guys/gals. I know it come down to personal taste but if you didn't get the factory spoiler, would you reconsider buying it if there is 2nd chance? For those of you with it, how you guys like it?
IMO the TL look a little better with a spoiler. Without one, it's not that bad at all. So is it worth the extra $$$ for the spoiler?

By the way, what is the invoice price for the spoiler?

FYI--- there's always a 'second chance'! I didn't get one when i bought my car, but can always add it if I choose. You can buy it right here from Tim for a fraction of the dealer cost. Not sure of the exact price, but look around this site and you will find it.

I'd get it again, I would consider the flush mount (to be different) but I don't want to debadge my car.

Thumbs up

I got the spoiler installed when I got the car. I really think the spoiler makes the car look more sporty. The dealer cost for the spoiler is between 800-900 dollars installed. I was able to negoiate the spoiler in for free when I purchased the car. You can also get it from this site. It is near 300 bucks painted, but it is not OEM. It is a replica of the factory one without the ACURA logo imprinted on the bottom. Check my website if you want to see pics of the spoiler.

I got the spoiler included with the car when I got it, and I think it makes the car look MUCH more sporty.

However I've also seen a lot of lowered TL's with the body kit and no spoiler that look even better.

Like you said, it all boils down to personal preference. I wanted something that made the car look a more aggressive, and since I didn't want to spend the 1500 bucks for the factory kit through the dealer and don't plan on lowering the car, the spoiler was the right choice for me.

The TL-S looks much better with springs, spoiler, body kit and SS exhaust. The spoiler flattens out what is otherwise a droopy rear deck. The springs eliminate the large wheel well gap, the body kit better integrates the tailpipes so that they look like they’re in the car not under it, and the SS exhaust eliminates the cheapo rusty-muffler-with-tailpipe-tips look. Expensive, but worth it.

Just my opinion

Personally, I like the clean look without the spoiler.... if I choose to get the spoiler later on, it will be the Streeteffectz lip spoiler....

I have it and I have that installed when I picked up the car. I think the tail-end is a little too low. Adding the spoiler brings that "up" a little bit and makes the car more sporty.

Lightbulb I'll go with it.

Thanks guys, I'll go with a spoiler. Depend on what the final price on the TLS with and without spoiler. If the spoiler cost tooooo much, then I will get the aftermarket one. I may try something that look different than the rest but not too ricey.
Any car with a spoiler will enhance its look.
