I have a 2000 TL-P and i notice that the car slightley shakes when i stop at a red light or so on. (vehicle is still in D5)

If u have any ideas on why this may happen, plz lemme know.

Does it shake while coming to a stop? If so you may have warped rotors. Your rotors may need resurfacing. Dealer should take care of the problem. Others, including myself, have experienced this problem.

 

it only occurs when the vehicle has completly stopped.

 

Take it to the dealer the rotors are warped....

 

when it has come to a complete stop & then 'shudders' you may have a leak in your vacuum hose or it could be that your steering column needs to be repack. rotor warping would shake your car while you come to a complete stop.

 

dude, i have the same problem, it's got nothing to do with the rotors or brakes, sometimes when i come to a COMPLETE stop at a red light the car starts to shake like it's almost gonna turn off, but then recovers and it does this repeatetly, and sometimes it doesn't do it, but it's been doing it a lot more often now, it comcerns me, i am taking it to the dealer, it could have something to do with the throttle sensor or something, really don't know!!

 

mine does that too.. it will be idle at like750rpm and then dops down to 500, at 500 and lower the car shudders. this happened because i messed with the throttle cable trying to tighten it.
