Thumbs down TL Seat problems...

Does anyone think the front seats in the TL suck? I have had an Accord, Integra, and an Odyssey, and this car has been the least comfortable. The top of the seat is pushed out too far and the lumbar does not pop out enough. The seat back also seems too concave putting too much pressure on the shoulder blades and not enough on the spine. And a firmer seat would be much better. Who designed these things? I miss my Accord seats. Everything else is a 10 on the car. The seat get a 2. :-( (I'm about 6 foot).

Try the CL seats and see if you like them. If so then replace your seats with the CL seats. Or just get the Accord seats...

So these seats will bolt right in? Accord seats too. I wonder what the cost would be for CL seats?

Yeh, I hate the TL seats too!
I've investigated the CL-S in the TL months ago.
Refer to this thread! http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/Archives...-1-002437.html

Best to probably do is to find a wrecked CL-S and take/buy off the seats! Good luck in that process!

Agree 100% about the lumbar support. Used to drive a Mustang GT, and that baby would inflate like a blimp!

Lumbar support with the TL is definitely lacking pizazz...

Mustangs are one of the least comfortable cars I've ever driven. I used to date a stripper that had a 98 Cobra and it was so uncomfortable.

The comfy seats are one of the major reasons I bought this car.

How tall are you Einstein? Less than six foot?

I think if my girlfriend was a stripper I wouldn't notice if the seats were crap.

I also had a 97 Mustang GT, and the lumbar did inflate rather big. Although I didn't care much for that cars comfort either, It was much better than the TL.

When a Ford has better comfort, were talkin' bad seats.

Cool

I agree with you Mac. I'd ride with my ass hanging through the floorboards if my girlfriend was a stripper.
