i just put a intake on my 03 tls, do you think i could beat my friend in a race, he has a '95 toyota supra twin turbo, with some kind of exhaust and also brand new toyo tires. my tires r kinda worn out. o yeah, i also have exhaust tips!!

 

i think i'm gonna go meet w/ him, i have a good feeling about this, because my car is already pretty fast, but now with this new intake, i should be even faster....

umm, save your gas and reputation. My friend has a Supra, with turbo up his ass, i forgot whats its called, when he switches gear it makes that sharp whistle sound, in other words, it is freaken crazy fast.

Yes, since our cars are so damn heavy. I wouldn’t even be a contest.
And as for the Camero…I think it would be smoked too. A 600 HP Carom weighs a hell of alot more than a 600 HP Supra.

 

I seriously hope you're kidding, or possibly on crack. The Camaro is by far an inferior car when compared to the Supra Turbo. Sure, a stock Camaro SS will give a stock Supra Turbo a run for its money in a straight line, but throw in some twisties, and the Camaro SS quickly fades. The Camaro is, in almost every aspect, outdated technology. From the dated pushrod engine to the solid rear axle outback. The Supra, however, has a fully independent rear suspension which yields far better handling. I can go on, but I think I've said enough. :pfawk:

 

Unfortunately there is a lot of old men and their grandson’s have the mindset that old muscle cars are great cars. I wouldn’t think so. They are stone age technology. Bad brakes, interiors, wiring, chassis, etc. Only thing is the engine, only if it has been refurbished.
