Looks interesting. However, if you consider the model year, it's like the Accord "Special Edition" at the end of a model's generation (to get rid of inventories, body frames, parts, etc.) On the other hand, if you like it, who cares?

 

Well the 02 special edition accord was the last nice accord, before the new 03 accord came out and screwed things up. maybe this "special edition" TL will be the last nice one before the new TL comes out and screwes things up too!

 

THe Nissan Sentra SE-R V-spec (another dumb name). They REVERESED the Spec-V to V-spec cause they felt the car did not deserve the GT-R name..

DUH.

 

HEY HEY HEY!!! WATCH YOUR MOUTH YOUNG MAN! The new TL should rule with Lots of power, 290-300 HP and lots of cool features... So Just cuz the new Accord sucked doesnt mean the TL Will too.. I actually dont mind the Coupe..

 

I agree that the new '04 TL would have awesome features. But I don't think it would look as handsome as the 99-03 TL's. Whoever is designing for Honda, they should be fired.

But who knows, I could be wrong right?

I kinda prefer the way the car looks now with out all that A-spec stuff. For the week 3 people thought my car was a honda. Since im riding on 19's how the hell can i look like a honda accord.. Anyway i think the A-spec takes away from the luxury part of the TL. TL looks better to me with the chrome accents. Thats my 2cents

It looks like the A-spec wheels are the same ones as the Honda Saber Type S and the spoiler is the JDM version.

The TL A Spec will be presented in the Montreal Auto Show from November 22nd to december 1st 2002.

If the new 2004 TL is an all-new design, it will be released in the fall. Honda/Acura is now running a five-year product cycle. The only reason that the mid-cycle-minor-changed 2002 TL came out in the Spring is because that's exactly right in the middle of the five-year cycle. 5 years / 2 = 2.5 years.

 

not sure if im feelin the headlights, im sure itll look alotta better if the orange was taken out.. something no1 mentioned, i dont think, but the handles r painted...
that cud b why the black looks real sporty bc u can barely make out the door handles

Yep! the only difference is, it's standard instead of being a option.

 

Nothing looks that good but the headlights!!! If you want a painted grill, then paint it! If you want matching door handles paint them! headlights are a different story but could be done! the interior would be dope if it was white inserts like the (MB C43) to go with the titanium interior but if you really like the titanium again PAINT IT!!! it really wouldn't be that hard! the rims suck, the shift knob + steering wheel are very bad, buy the body kit, get side markers ETC... If there's no more HP or Suspension changes IE Integra Type R, it wouldn't be to hard to do it here!!!

Yup... it's the exact same car underneath.... It just has some cosmetic changes and a new badge....

I am going to order the spoiler, headlights, and grille as soon as they're available. I may order the steering wheel too. I'm not sure about the seats and the shift knob yet.
