The good...
OEM KIT -- Standard
Blacked/Blued out HID housings.
Body color front grill and door handles.
Side Markers
Chrome Door Sills
Titainium interior trim

Other Stuff. (dont really like)
Spoiler (little too flashy with all the lights)
Wheels (Comon Acura got to choose better wheels for the car.)
Two Tone Interior (Does not look too bad in pics.)
Gear knob, Steering wheel (huh ??)
Floor Mats (with CADADIAN winters mine would be covered 8 months of the year anywayz

Anyways that just the way I'd see it. Wonder how difficult it would be to wire up the side markers

it's only the headlight, grille, side-blinkers, two-tone seats/steering wheel and Inspire spoiler that us Canucks get. It's still a Gen 2 TL .

Psst, the new Accord, in V6, comes with 240hp but.. with premium fuel (91+), it will give 250hp !

I just got the magazine yesterday.

After much consideration I'd have to say that this is ghey.

What they should have done:

18 inch wheels
comptech springs or equivalent to eliminate the suv look

what would have been nice:
turn signals in the mirrors

In the end I think they are using the Canadian market as a test market to see if this thing takes off, sort of a market research exercise. I think it is novel but a little too ricey like the IS300 and Mazda P5.

Time will tell.

I kinda agree with Hemants that they are probably testing a few things out for the future TL. I can see the 04 TLs having the aluminum/titanium interior (which the CL already has), the side blinkers, the black or car colored headlight housing (which the CL also already has) and possibly the two tone seats ala S4 as an option. The car should already get a bump in power so they TLS will be a bit sportier (yes 1sicklex, we know its not a sports sedan until it goes RWD or AWD) than it is now.

I don't think I see the spoiler making it with the side blinkers and I'm sure the new TL will also have a bodykit since we currently have on already.

screw you junior, im getting those abp headlights first!! ; )

that and the grill are the first things to buy. the seats would prolly be a bit expensive, prolly cheaper just to get ours reupholstered.

wonder how much those headlights will run?

Taken from CL.com

Acura Tl-type S A spec, that is a dumb ass name. Damn, really is all that needed. Type-S A-Spec, sounds like a fatal disease or something. It's just an appearance package. Why the A-spec. And when are the U.S. TL boyz gonna ask for a group buy for the A-spec badge?

There is a Nissan Skyline GT V-spec in R33 and R34 forms. Those are ALL OUT SPORTS CARS. 400hp,AWD, Active diff, just amazing. There is a GT-R M spec, only 100 made, a lil softer than the V-spec but amazing too.

Acura took the Type name from Bugatti, added an S and there ya go. Now they took the Spec name, added an A and there ya go....

Nothing is sacred. Though it is not as bad as a Corolla S, that is the dumbest thing I have ever saw.

Acura TL- Type S A spec, that is some confusing sh!t. Try saying that fast 4 times.

Focking video games, now everyone thinks they know stuff about cars.

I already have that stuff on my car. Thats JDM stuff. Spoiler is the same without the camera and with red reflectors instead of clear. It looks good though if you are buying new and want to stand out a little more.

The front looks tight. Love the color keyed headlights, door handles and grill. The body kit looks the same. That's about it. The side markers? looks like crap. The spoiler...why do you need the extra lights? Looks cheezy.

On the inside...the two tone leather and door panels are kinda cool, the shift knob however, stands out like a sore thumb. The steering wheel looks like my Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP wheel used with my PS2!!!
If those are floor mats in the background with the type s on them....I diggin those. And the metal trim looks tight.

Who knows maybe Acuras' trying to get the producers of The Fast and The Furious 2 to use a TL-S A Spec

If I was one of you guys in Canada, I'd suck up as much of these parts from your dealers up there and put them up for sale here......I'd have an order in for a few things....what about everyone else??

Don't forget, the trims come with the door panels! And one center console trim costs around $50 USD. I want the sills!

okay, so i contacted tim from hond**********, he works at a dealer in ny. he said that no dealers from canada will do business with him, so theres pretty much no chance of getting these parts through a local dealer.

im trying to find a canadian dealer to see how much these parts run individually, can anyone give me the name of a reputable dealer that ships to the US?

well, don't get your hopes up guys...i contacted three dealers in canada about a-spec parts...

"We will not see this car until the Spring at which time parts and pricing information will be available.

Jeff Cutler
Parts Manager"

so, no such luck for a few months at least. but this makes me wonder, why would this car be released in the spring if the '04 is coming out in the fall? doesnt that seem like a bit of a waste?

The thing is the New 2004 TL is not necessarily coming out in Fall. It might come out in Spring, Which means a 2003 TL Type-S A-Spec and 2004 TL will compete... I guess the ASpec will only be the last TL's left, they will try to liquidate there inventory and than bring the 2004 TL
