TL-S Manifold Quick Question!
Tomorrow Im planning on doing a Full EGR Passages Clean Up but I want to do the Full Manifold as Well...
My question is if I can remove the Manifold Covers (The Sides not Top) and Re-Use its gaskets?? Im confident the Top Cover isnt a Problem since I have cleaned up the Passages before and Re-Used the Gasket but I have never Removed the Side Covers so I dunno...
Any Input very Apreciated!!!

Sides are metal and can be reused as well.

fsttyms1 is the info man,,
and did that exact thing to his car,,removed the plenums for complete cleaning
Note: those plenums shine up nice with any metal polish and minor hand labor or buffer on drill= if you want to run without the plastic top engine cover for better cooling and looks
do lube the throttle and cruise cables inside with wd or silicone or deep creep
Service TB air plate/IACV inside bottem of tb unit
get 2 tb to manifold gaskets- one goes on each side of its spacer
a spray can of gasket remover is often a life saver
can of deep creep and 3 cans of carb cleaner, plus wire coat hanger or metal rod of similar construction are the needed tools
torque wrench critical! self calibrate by testing intake bolts before removal

Thanks Super Mod!!
@01tl4tl
Yeah I already have a Blue Magic Bottle to do the Sides (The Plenum is Soaking in TB Cleaner Right Now! I will use a Metal Brush to clean the Manifold.
I didnt bought the Gaskets for TB since I have OE Thermoblok ones they Said are Re-Usable.
I will do give the TB Linkage a Nice Lube with WD40 and the Butterfly too....
Thanks for Info!

Installing the gaskets is perfect time to clean it all up. I spent maybe 40 mins wrenching tops and like 3-4 hours just cleaning everything up really well. Didn't even clean up the outside just inside. Lots of spray seafoam and elbow grease and eventually the cleaner was running through and coming out clean on the other side. To avoid a mess I just used my oil drain pan. I'm assuming the environmental recycling places take that as well but to be sure there's only motor oil in there when they ask lol.
