anyone's TL replacement Transmission die out?

 

Which one? I have had 2 replacements bite the dust. The last one was put in Oct 04 and died the middle of March. I don't think the latest version of the Tranny (after the middle of 04 from what my dealer tells me) is any better or reliable.

I am on my 4th Tranny on my 02 TLS and I have 79K miles. What puzzles me is that I don't drive with a heavy foot. But if you read other posts it is not the driving that kills the tranny.

i lost count of how many tranny's i got replaced..... but really, i replaced it 3 times, maybe 4 can't quite remember, but it's one or the other. i think i might bring it in one more time right at around 90k miles therefore i might get a good tranny right before the waranty runs out. My tranny died on me twice, the original and second one, they wouldn't go into drive, and sometimes overrevved. but the last two tranny's didn't die on me, they just shifted kinda hard, so i went in, and they just replaced without really diagnosing it, i just told them my car drove funny, and they were like ok we'll change ur tranny, leave it with us a few days and take a RSX ir TSX as a loaner.....

 

What is this an oil change ?? This is ridiculous! LoL
