Hey Guys,
Lets make a list of all the most common problems with our TL's like, electrical, engine, trans etc. and recommend a solution. This list could help somebody's TL's life.

Mine would be stalling, low RPM's, shuts off by itself, engine light comes on: Recommended fix would be (cleaning out the upper intake manifold).

Anybody else.

Can you post pics of your wheels? Unless they changed something, Lsportline Model 4s do not fit a TL. Wrong counterbore for our car.

Someone a long time ago had a set custom made for the TL, but I've never seen another one with them.

 

srs 3x's
brake switch 2x's
stalling after restarting all the time!
ac is acting up right now
squeeky seats
......and counting


P.S. i still love my car

 

My are 1 piece 45 offset as opposed to the 3 piece. Big price difference.

 

Just took mine in today to get the 3rd transmission with only 79k ... solution - trade it in before 100k miles
